New Holland EMS kicks off their fourth annual Food and Coat Drive

Sadly, a grim pattern is emerging from many local food pantries. Food and gas prices have increased, leading more of those people to seek aid at community and cooperative food pantries.

Since the demand for emergency food and clothing is increasing, New Holland Ambulance Association has decided to start an annual food and coat drive.

Please consider donating any jacket (clean and in usable condition) to our endeavor. Many times our families have to make a choice whether to buy coats for their kids or pay rent. The coats we receive will make that decision an easier one.

Non-perishable food items or grocery store gift-cards, along with any new or slightly used warm clothing donations can be dropped off at our station located at 101 East Franklin Street, New Holland, Pa. If transportation isn't possible, please call 717 278-8246 for donation pickup.

Also look for us at Yoders Country market, Shady Maple Farmers Market, and Goods Store in East Earl as we have crews out picking up items. Saturday December 13th 10:00am-3:00pm. We are also receiving items at our stand during the Christmas On Main event in New Holland, Saturday December 6th 6pm-9pm in the area of The Ritz on Main.
