New Holland Ambulance Association is proud to announce our emergency medical services level upgrade for our community. Effective March 1st, 2025, at 0000hrs, New Holland Ambulance Association upgraded from an Intermediate Advanced Life Support (IALS) service to a fully equipped Advanced Life Support (ALS). This transition is part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of prehospital care to our community.
This upgrade enhances our ability to perform medical interventions for patients experiencing life-threatening emergencies. By becoming an ALS service, it will enable us to provide: • Advanced airway management, including intubation, surgical airways, & ventilators • Expanded medication administration, including drugs for cardiac events, respiratory distress, pain management, severe traumatic injuries, & administering critical medications with IV medication pumps. • Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) interventions, such as EKG interpretation, cardiac pacing and synchronized cardioversion
New Holland Ambulance recognized the necessity of equipping our crews with advanced tools and training to better serve our patients. Please stay tuned to our social media in the coming weeks for additional announcements on our ALS equipment & capabilities!
New Holland Ambulance Association remains dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in emergency medical services. We extend our gratitude to our local partners, healthcare providers, and the community for their ongoing support in making this transition possible. |
